    I love the Mom's panel and thanks for all your help. My 180 days is approching and was wondering if it's better to use the on-line dining reservation system or to call up and talk to a real person? There will be 6 of us in our party.

    I just love reaching that magical 180-day mark! It's so exciting to make your dining reservations and begin to put together a 'plan' for your wonderful vacation. 

    Although some people prefer to talk directly to a Cast Member at Disney Dining to make their reservations, making your own reservations online is equally simple. One advantage to reserving online is that you can begin at 6am whereas the phone lines open at 7am.

    I'd recommend that you make a prioritized list of your reservations before you begin. The most popular reservations such as Be Our Guest, 'Ohana, Le Cellier, Cinderella's Royal Table and other Character Dining locations are top priority, high-demand reservations. If you can, make any of those popular ones online, first thing at 6am EST when you reach your 180-day mark. That extra hour can really make a difference in securing just what you're hoping for!

    For the remainder of your list, you may find it beneficial to call a Disney Dining Cast Member at (407) WDW-DINE. They are able to look up multiple reservations for you at once, confirm them all with your credit guarantee in one transaction (where applicable) and even connect them to your Disney Dining Plan if you're using one.
