    Love the panel - thanks for all the great tips! Staying at Bay Lakes with the DDP and want to pick restaurants for dinner that are close by (either accessible via monorail or boat). What are your favorites? We like mix of character & non-buffet. Thx

    Hi Jen!  You have quite a few choices in this location that can be reached via monorail and boat!

    Some of my favorites include the character dining experiences of Chef Mickey at the Contemporary resort and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue at Fort Wilderness.  Both of these offer wonderful character greeting opportunities but both are buffets.

    You have two dinner shows close by with Hoop de Doo being my favorite and it is located in Fort Wilderness. The other show is at the Polynesian and is the Spirit of Aloha which is based on a luau.

    Favorite table service locations include Artist Point and Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge, California Grill and Wave at Contemporary, and Citricos and Narcoosees at the Grand Floridian.

    There are many other choices but these have been my favorites for many years!
