LOVE the panel! We are staying at the Polynesian in October 2009 - first visit to DW - and I was wondering the approximate travel times from there to MK (monorail, ferry), AK, HS and Downtown Disney using Disney transportation. Thanks!

    Hi Larra!

Congratulations on your fist trip to Walt Disney World!  The Polyneisian is my favorite Disney Resort - it has the best of everything!  Of course, since it is right across Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom, transportation to and from this park is a breeze.  It takes about 13 minutes by monorail and 12 minutes by boat.  Also accesible by monorail, Epcot is about 19 minutes away.  Hollywood Studios is a mere 20 minutes by bus and Animal Kingdom is 26 minutes, also by bus.  Farthest away, Downtown Disney is 27 minutes away.  Believe it or not, the time flies by and you are at your destination before you know it!
