Love the panel! Staying at BCR Club Level in Sep with DH and kids (3,7). I keep hearing that Stormalong Bay is amazing. What else can you tell me about the resort? Any other activities or amenities to look forward to? Can you see any fireworks from there?

    Hi Angela!

I think you made a great choice.  Beach Club is an outstanding resort.  It's main drawn is, of course, Stormalong Bay, the absolutely best pool at any of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  Other things to look forward to is Beaches and Cream, an old fashion ice cream parlor with some of the best ice cream on property.  Be sure to order a Kitchen Sink if you go there.

Other amenities include being able to rent out all kinds of watercraft on Crescent Lake.  There's also movie night out on the beach.  Your location is also wonderful and you have an easy short walk to Disney's Boardwalk entertainment area; you can also just catch a boat to the other side of the lake.

While a few rooms at the Beach Club offer a view of the top of the fireworks from Illuminations, you really can't see that spectacular nighttime show from the Beach Club.  The best bet is on the bridge between the Beach Club and the Boardwalk.  However, the really nice thing about being at the Beach Club is you can just walk 5 minutes to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot, between the United Kingdom and France pavilions, and just watch the show right there inside Epcot!

A great independent website for various information on the various Disney resorts is AllEars.net.  They have a great fact sheet on the Beach Club and Beach Club Villas.

    Have an amazing vacation!
