    Love this panel! Well soon be at Animal Kingdom Lodge and have reservations at Tusker House for a character breakfast. How far way is the restaurant? How early do we have to leave to make it on time? Thank you!

    Hello there Diane!

    We just got back from Walt Disney World and were able to eat at Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom for breakfast! It was soooo much food and everything was very good. The restaurant is located about 150 yards away from the entrance of the Kilimanjaro Safari which happens to be on the opposite side of the park from the entrance. I would get to the Bus Stop at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at least an hour and a half prior to your reservation. Buses to the parks run twenty minutes apart so even if you just miss one, you will only loose twenty minutes. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is right beside the park and should only take roughly ten minutes to get to the park's bus station. That would leave you roughly and hour to get to the restaurant but you still have to go through bag check and ticket check. Depending on the time that your reservation is it may take a good bit of time to get through security. Walking into the park through the crowds will take some time as well. So the earlier you get there the better. I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help!
