Love the panel! How do the rooms compare between YC and BC? Was one refurbished more recently? Any other pros and cons between them? Thanks so much!

    Hi Elizabeth!

I have stayed at both resorts in the past year, and I have to say that I love them both! They are beautiful with a great location and ease of access to Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the entertainment on the Boardwalk.

In my opinion, the main difference between the two is that the Beach Club has a more laid back atmosphere while the Yacht Club has a more upscale vibe. I personally prefer the Beach Club while my husband prefers the Yacht so you can see that it is all a matter of taste and opinion.

The rooms at both resorts have recently been refurbished. The Beach Club underwent a renovation this past spring, while the Yacht Club was finishing up its room updates this past fall. The refurbishments included flat panel televisions and new mattresses and bedding.

Both resorts share the amazing pool - Stormalong Bay which I have to say is the best pool on property! It's sand bottomed with a lazy river, sand dune area for the kids, whirlpools and a cool waterslide. I would say that one pro of the Beach Club is that it is a bit closer to the International Gateway at Epcot so you'd have a slightly shorter walk than you would from the Yacht Club.

I would say that you can't go wrong with either resort. They are both lovely and I enjoyed our stays at both.

I hope this helps with your decision! Have fun planning your upcoming trip!
