Love this panel, 1 more ?, have resv. for POFQ for Aug28-Sept4, now rethinking trip, do u think 2 boys (10 and 7) would like different hotel with a better pool? Maybe wilderness cabins, picked FQ because it was smaller hotel. How about CS or CB?

    Hi Shawna,

I can understand your hesitation.  Although Port Orleans French Quarter (POFQ) is a beautiful resort, I find that the water slide is geared towards the smaller children.   If you really want to stay at POFQ, you do have an option.  Port Orleans Riverside (POR) is a sister resort to POFQ.  Therefore, it is acceptable to share pools.  POR is a short walk from POFQ.

If you like the location of POFQ/POR, it may be more convenient to consider updating your reservation to POR.

I do have another suggestion I'd like to make.  By chance, do your boys like pirates?  If so, you may want to consider relocating to Caribbean Beach Resort (CB).  They have newly themed pirate rooms that are absolutely fabulous.   (You can check out pictures at allears.net and search "pirate themed room" to get an idea on what they look like.)  In addition, CB has a newly themed pirate pool which looks like a ton of fun.

The pool at Coronado Springs (CS) also looks amazing.

Bottom line, if pool slides are important to your boys, the slide at POFQ may not work for them but you have plenty of options!

Good luck with your decision!  Diane
