Hi, love the panel! I read it everyday! DH and I taking DS-22 months in Dec and he is 36 inches right now. I was just wondering if there were rides that I should stay away from with him even if he meets the height requirements. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Jessica!

Glad you read our responses! Maybe we can compile all these questions one day and make the New York Times Bestsellers List! :-)

I took my son in 2008 when he was 18 months. I would say any attraction with long periods of darkness or loud noises really freaked him out. Here are some of the rides I can think of just off the top:

    • Spaceship Earth (Epcot)-slow moving, but loong periods of darkness.
    • It's Tough to be a Bug! (Animal Kingdom)-show with more darkness; noises; plus the 3-D experience was too much. Muppet Vision 3-D (Epcot) may also qualify as a "Don't Take."
Those are the only one's I can really think of that bothered him. If you're not sure, you can also ask the Cast Member before they get on. They generally have a good pulse for what works with the kids with the thousands they let on the ride each day.

Have an easy, no-scare time with your son and family!
