    Love this panel....what is the quickest mode of transportation to get from AofA to MK's BBB for a 9:45am reservation...trying to avoid waking the princesses up too early. :) If the bus is the best choice - what should I allow on a extra magic hrs. day ?

    I am so excited to hear that you'll be staying at the all new Art of Animation Resort on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  I have had the pleasure of visiting this amazing property several times since its opening and I have to say, it's top notch!  The imagineers spared no expense when designing this resort and it's obvious from the moment you step foot inside the vibrant and colorful lobby!  You'll truly feel as if you've been magically dropped into your favorite animated movies! Pretty cool, huh?

    Most guests will actually opt to use the bus transportation to travel over to the Magic Kingdom.  You won't need to worry too much about Extra Magic Hours crowds as they will have tapered off by the time you need to leave!  If you decide to take a bus, just be sure you plan to leave Art of Animation by about 8:30. This should give you plenty of time to travel to the Magic Kingdom before leisurely strolling back to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique which is located at Cinderella Castle!  You can't miss it!

    Another option, and one that I use quite frequently is a taxi which will allow you to leave a bit later, but not much.  Taxi cabs are not allowed to drop off directly in front of the Magic Kingdom entrances like the buses, so you will have to catch either the Monorail or Ferry Boat over from the Ticket and Transportation Center.  Drive time from AofA to the Ticket and Transportation Center is about 15 to 20 minutes and it could take another 20 to make it over to the entrance turnstiles!  From there it can take another 10-15 minutes to walk down Main Street and across the hub to the castle...which could total up to 45 minutes. You should still leave by 9:00 to be safe and allow plenty of stress-free travel time!  It's also a good idea to call the front desk that morning to ensure a taxi will be waiting.
