Hi, love your panel, I am a plus-size mom, will I be able to enjoy rides with my 2 princesses? Also, we all want to buy disney fleeces when we are there next month, will mom be able to find one in the resort stores or in downtown disney?? Thanks

There are very few rides and attractions at WDW that prove challenging for plus-size people. You should be able to experience almost everything with your daughters. To help you navigate I do have some resources for you:

    1. PassPorter's Open Mouse for Walt Disney World. This is the best guidebook going for people with any sort of physical issue, including size. Every ride at WDW is described in great detail, including the size and type of seating and the type of restraint used on the ride. This book is available through and many larger bookstores.

    2. The independent website Search there for a great article called "WDW at Large" and also for "At Large" trip reports. Lots of practical tips!

The only ride that I consistently hear is a struggle for larger adults is Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom. You must step down into a small-ish ride vehicle.

As for clothing, the World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney often stocks Disney-themed clothing in sizes up to 5X. If you are looking for information in advance about other locations that sell larger-sized clothing, you can contact the WDW merchandise department at
