    Love the panel! Please advise best places to view Illuminations and Wishes. Also, heard Frontier land is a great spot to watch the parade at MK, is this the best spot? Going w/ hubby and girls 2&4, 02/26-03/05 staying at movies. Thank you!!

    Hi Lisa,

    Any where that you can find a clear unobstructed view of the middle of the World Showcase Lagoon is great viewing spot for IllumiNations. I like watching from the Rose & Crown Pub in the UK Pavilion or near the Canadian Pavilion. A key factor is to check the wind direction & get behind the wind so that the smoke from the fireworks doesn't blow towards you.

    As far as viewing spots for the parades & fireworks at the MK go, it will depend on your agenda for the evening. I prefer to stake out a spot that offers a great viewing location for both the parade & fireworks. My favorite spot is near the end of Main Street USA (either side) just as it turns at the hub in front of Cinderella Castle. I like these spots b/c there are restrooms nearby in case my kids need to go during the wait.

    If I can't get a spot at the end of Main Street near the hub, I would suggest any place in the hub along the right side if you're facing Cinderella Castle. Although there are some other good views of the fireworks throughout the MK, if you want to see Tinker Bell fly, on the Main Street side of the castle is where you should find a spot.

    The parades at MK can start at either end of the parade route & can vary from day to day. The parade route begins (or ends) in Frontierland near Splash Mountain & travel towards Liberty Square.  It turns right at The Hall of Presidents. When it reaches the hub in front of Cinderella Castle it goes to the left side of the hub. From there it heads down Main Street taking another left so that it goes around Town Square & ends near the Harmony Barber Shop. Or it can begin near the HBBS & make its way along the same route & end in Frontierland. If you are visiting on an evening when you just want to see the parade, Frontierland is a great place to catch it.
