Love the panel for planning our trips to WDW. Planning a cruise for fall 2010 for my family of 4, kids will be 5 & 7. DCL seems considerably more expensive than competitors. How can I convince my DH that the Disney Cruise is the way to go?

Disney Cruise Line offers magic. If you’ve been to Walt Disney World then you know the difference between vacationing at Disney or going to another amusement park. This is one of the major differences aboard the Disney Cruise Line. It’s the Disney difference.

But let’s talk facts too. First, you’ll want to look at what is included in your cruise fare. Note that Disney offers reduced rates for children.

    DCL also offers:
The only fireworks display at sea
    Broadway-quality entertainment
    Character greetings
    Innovative children’s programming
Palo - an adults-only restaurant that is not to be missed
Larger, standard staterooms with split bathrooms
Crew members trained in “Disney Traditions”
    Castaway Cay
    Rotational dining

Booking in advance will yield a greater savings. Also, check mousesavers.com for further information on discounted sailings.
