I love this panel. We are planning a trip to WDW in November and staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We will have our own transportation but is that the easiest way to get from park to park. Or should we take the bus. We are traveling with a 3yo &

Hello Shanna, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

My family and I typically drive to Walt Disney World for our vacations so we have a car when we arrive. But our car stays parked at the resort the entire time!  Part of vacation for us is not having to figure out where we are going.  At Walt Disney World all of our cares seem to fade away and we are totally immersed in vacation mode.  Traffic can be stressful and we don't want that.  The Disney buses are, for the most part, very reliable.  My daughter has always loved riding on them, in fact she feels like it's the first attraction of the day.  I think your 3 year old would love hopping on the big Disney bus in the mornings. What I would do if I were you would be to try it the first day you are there.  See if it works for your family.  If you don't like riding the bus, go ahead and take your vehicle the rest of the vacation but at least you gave it a shot.

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
