Love this panel! Party of 11 coming in Sept 15, 7 adlts & 4 kids w/ DDP. Thinking about a dinner show. Which is better Hoop dee doo Revue or Spirit of Aloha? And what time/seating would be available to us using the Table Service of our DDP? Thank you!

    Hi Sherri,

Thank you so much for the kind words, and I am happy to know that the Disney Parks Moms Panel has been helpful to you!

My favorite dining events at Walt Disney World Resort are the dinner shows. I absolutely love them all, and you can't go wrong with either Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue or Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. Since you're traveling with children, they might enjoy Hoop-Dee-Doo more. It is definitely a night of laughter where the whole family can clap, stomp their feet and sing along while chowing down on buckets of an all-you-care-to-enjoy country feast of chicken and ribs. Be prepared though, because someone from your group just might be asked to join the show!

As for the Disney Dining Plans, you should be able to make a reservation for either of the shows at any of the available times. However, you will have to choose either Category 2 or Category 3 seating when using the Table-service credits. Don't worry. You'll still have a great view of the show!

I sure hope your family enjoys whichever one of these you decide on and y'all have a perfect vacation! Please let us know if we can be of any more help.
