    Hi Moms! I love the panel! Do parks really close because of the crowds during the holidays? What time should we arrive at Magic Kingdom on Dec 31 to guarantee entrance? We have a reservation for Be Our Guest, we don't want to miss it!

    Hi Rafaela!!!

    I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the Christmas/New Year's Seasons.  The whole resort is decorated so beautifully!  However, with the beauty and splendor does come very big crowds.  You can definitely expect the Magic Kingdom (and possibly other theme parks) to close early on December 31 due to maximize capacity.  I have been at the Magic Kingdom on New Year's Eve and witnessed it closed due to capacity.  

    I would highly recommend arriving at the Magic Kingdom by 9:00am on December 31.  This will probably make for a long day at the Magic Kingdom in case you want to stay for midnight, but it is well worth it!  This is especially true since you have an Advance Dining Reservation at the Be Our Guest Restaurant.  You definitely want to make sure you are in the Magic Kingdom before the gates are closed.
