    Love the panel!!! OK, here goes! On a budget, would love to stay at a deluxe on monorail, so Contemp. makes sense price-wise. Kids 4,7,9. Big ? is what do you think about Contemp's pool and beach area? What are they like? Do they appeal to kids?

    The Contemporary is one of our family favorites!  We have stayed here several times and enjoy the convenience of being so close to the Magic Kingdom (MK).  In case you don't know, there is a walking path from the Contemporary to the MK that you may want to take advantage of at some point in addition to the convenience of the monorail.

    The Contemporary as a whole has been undergoing major renovations.  All the rooms have been recently refurbished, stores/food court arcade relocated.

    I think your children will love the recently refurbished pool area including the activities the lifeguards sponsor at pool side.  The water slide is also a lot of fun for kids of all ages.  As far as the beach area, swimming is not allowed in the water but your children can certainly play on the beach if they wish.
