It looks like you will be returning to The Most Magical Place on Earth really soon, and I know you must be thrilled! I have visited a couple of times since everything reopened last summer. I can confidently say that the magic is still alive and well in our happy place!
On one of my recent visits, I stopped by
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe for one of my tasty favorites, Beef Nachos (I highly recommend them!). While the Fixins Bar was not available in an effort to keep Guests safe and healthy, I found that I was able to customize my dish via
Mobile Ordering. For example, on my Beef Nachos, I was able to pick each topping as "Included," "No, Thanks," or "Extra," plus I could choose to receive my queso on the side or pay a little more for extra, as well as add guacamole on my nachos or on the side for a small fee. I loved how detailed the process was!
Speaking of Mobile Ordering, if you are like me, you'll end up adoring this feature! Make sure you have the
My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone before visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. When you are ready, click on "Mobile Food Orders," then "Create New Order." This will bring up a list of
Quick Service locations and you will choose the time for your pick-up window. Once that is done, you can go through the menu and order your meal, including customization. After you have placed your order, you will let them know when you have arrived at the restaurant (most locations have you wait outside until your order is ready) by selecting the prompt on the app, then wait for them to alert you that your order is prepared and where to go to retrieve it. There are Cast Members nearby that are happy to assist you if you need them.
