LOVE THE PANEL! I need a little help, planning a trip to WDW in Sept. Already have res. for ASM value resort, but thinking about upgrading to AKL or FWL. I can not make up my mind. 2 adults and 5 yr old daughter. Thanks for all the great tips.

Hi Amy!  If I were you and I could budget the upgrade, I'd do it in a heartbeat to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  For me, it is the closest I will ever come to visiting Africa, and I just love the luxurious theming and rich scents throughout the resort.  But what I love best are the animals right outside the rooms.  How often can you have your morning coffee with a giraffe just yards away?  I should caution you, however, that there will be some construction going on there during September.
Ft. Wilderness is great, too, with its individual cabins that would provide your family with some extra space.  It also has some unique features such as a petting zoo and free nightly movies and campfire with Chip and Dale.  Please keep in mind that it is such a large resort that many guests rent golf carts to get around.
Of course, the All-Star Movies will fit 3 people well, and the price can't be beat.  If you think you will be using it for only sleeping, it may be a way to save some money that could be spent elsewhere.
