    Love panel! There May/June at OKW. VERY worried! Maybe a little spoiled when it comes to hotels. Don't want it to be a bad trip just because of resort. Have seen a few good reviews but never recommendation from panel for OKW. Why? Is it that bad/old? Thks

    Hi Andrea!

    Old Key West is a great place to stay.  I think you probably just haven't seen much on the panel about it because it is a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) resort and a lot of guests who send questions to the Moms Panel are generally not staying in a DVC resort.

    I think Old Key West is beautiful and the rooms there are some of the largest on property.  I also enjoy dining at the Table Service restaurant there:  Olivia's.  About the only thing I don't like about Old Key West is it is not on the monorail line nor within walking distance of any theme park.  Thus you will either need your own car or will have to rely on the Disney buses to get around (or take a taxi).  But that's true for a lot of Walt Disney World resorts!
