Love the panel! Looking for best one credit table service in resorts or downtown (outside resorts). Traveling with husband and two kids (8 girl, 7 boy). Thanks!

    Hey there!

My family's very favorite restaurant is 'Ohana, for dinner.  'Ohana is located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and is just 1 table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan.  The food is delicious and all-you-care-to-enjoy served right to your table.  Everybody is family at this restaurant, because 'Ohana means family, so your cousin will seat you and bring you pineapple coconut bread.  Then you will be served salad, chicken wings and pork dumplings.  I cannot get enough of the pork dumplings, they rock!  Next the main course, which is all cooked in the middle of the restaurant on a wood fire grill. You'll be served skewers of steak, chicken and shrimp.  These are all-you-care-to-enjoy so be sure to request your favorite when your server comes back to your table and they will bring more to you.  Side dishes are an Asian noodle dish and veggies that my daughter really enjoys.  To end the night, you're served a bread pudding a la mode with bananas-caramel sauce that is out of the world.  Even my non bread pudding fans in my family love this dish.  During your meal, there is dining room entertainment. Think coconut races around the restaurant, hula dancing and even the limbo!  Children that participate will be given flower leis and it makes it feel so much like Hawaii.  The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is fantastic - I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.

Here's a tip if you really want to impress your family.  Try to make your dining reservation about 1 hour prior to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.  When you're finishing up your meal with dessert, it will be time for the fireworks to start.  The restaurant dims the lights and pipes in music from the show.  Most tables in the restaurant have an awesome view but I do try to request a window seat.  How awesome is it to end your dinner with the fireworks at Magic Kingdom?

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
