    Hello all! Love this panel...log on everyday! Bringing my DDs 22,19,12 in August. Staying at WL, 1st time at a Deluxe...so excited! Can you tell me about the horseback experience? Is it costly? worth it? For my 12 y/o who loves horses but a beginner. Thx

    Hello, Tammy,

    I think you'll be in for such a treat staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge; it is a resort we could visit and enjoy all on its own without ever visiting any of the theme parks. Just a short boat ride away at the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort at the  Tri-Circle-D Ranch, horseback rides are offered that are intended for beginner and intermediate riders. If your daughter is a horse lover, I think it would be a wonderful and memorable experience for her. The current costs (subject to change) are $46 per person for approximately 45 minutes. You can make reservations by calling (407) WDW-PLAY.  If you'd like to visualize more of what the ride is like, I did a quick search on Youtube and saw a handful of videos. I think these may be the most helpful for you to see if it is a good match for your daughter.
