    Hi, love the panel! I'm secretly planning a Disney trip for my son's third birthday in February. When does the busses start running to Downtown Disney in the mornings? Thanks so much!!

    Hi Jessica:

    Buses generally start running to Downtown Disney around 8:30 am.  The first shops usually open around 9:30.  Happy birthday to your son.  Remember to check in at City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, and pick up a birthday button. Many Cast Members will go out of their way to wish your son a Happy Birthday or greet him with a kind gesture to make the visit more memorable.
