Hi, love this panel! I'm on the Disney Dining Plan and have noticed that children have to order from the kids menu, which is fairly limited. What if the kids want to order from the main menu? Is this feasible? Thanks!

    Hi Amrit!

You'll find that each restaurant you visit at Walt Disney World will have some standard children's menu offerings as well as some offerings specific to that particular restaurant's specialties or theme.

If you've paid for a Child's Dining Plan (ages 3-9) your child will be required to order from the children's menu. Should your child not find anything that interests them on the children's menu, inquire with your server and they may be able to offer you alternatives, based on chef's recommendations and limitations, to better suit your child's taste.

If you should choose to instead order from the adult menu for your child, you'll instead be charged accordingly for the extra meal since a child's credit cannot be used for an adult meal.

I think you'll find the menus to be quite varied and that there will be plenty of choices and alternate options available to you! We've used the Disney Dining Plan for many, many years as our children have grown up and grown in their tastes, and we've never been disappointed by what's been available!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Amrit!
