Love the Mom's panel!! I'm celebrating the big 4-0 this August in WDW. Any suggestions on making it a fabulous experience for me, the hubbie and my kids (3 and 7). dining (already planned Chef Mickey :) ? events? Thank you for all support

Oh Debbie what a youngster you are! I love that you will be celebrating at Walt Disney World as I can't imagine a better place to stay and feel young!

I would suggest you treat yourself and the family to a fireworks cruise the night of your birthday. It will make you feel like the skies have lit up just to celebrate you and why not. You can reserve one of these great pontoon boats and see Wishes at the Magic Kingdom or Illuminations at Epcot. Call 407-939-7529.

Another fun way to celebrate a birthday for a whole family is to get Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party reservations in the Magic Kingdom.  You will have the best seats in the house for the Wishes show which will include Tinker Bell flying down from the castle right over your heads!  Please know you can't see the great night time parade completely from this spot but you will see the tops of the floats and hear the music if that is good enough for you.

There are so many great dining options it is hard to even suggest one or two.  For something fun and different try HoopDeeDoo at Fort Wilderness. This is one where you all will be slapping your knees and tapping your feet to the great music and show while you dine on super ribs, chicken and cornbread!  After this time it so you can reserve a carriage ride through the Fort. Makes a nice quiet end to a busy day and if you are lucky you might even see one of the resident deer along the way.

My grandkids also love to eat at Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion of Epcot. This is where the chef will come and cook the meal in front of you using fun techniques and tricks for the entertainment value. The food is very good and you have many great choices for all ages and all picky eaters.

This is just a start.....let me know as you plan what I can help you with and as you have further specific questions. There is so much to see and do and so many places to dine and not enough space to name them all!
