I love answering questions about Fort Wilderness, especially when a golf cart is involved! It is my recommendation to reserve one in advance JUST IN CASE they are all taken when you arrive. They have added quite a few additional golf carts, so lately I’ve seen an abundance available. They were very limited in years past, so advance reservations were a must.
To make a reservation, you can call (407) 824-2742. They will charge a one day deposit to your credit card. The remaining balance will be due when you check in.
