Hi, love the panel you are all so helpful! Planning a trip 11/17/12-12/1/12. I'm a single mom with DD 10 and DS 8 how busy will the parks be and we have been in Oct and Aug but have always had someone else with us. Thanks for all your help!

I'm so glad that the Moms panel has been of assistance in your trip planning, Michelle!  That's what we're here for.  As for your fall 2012 trip, you can expect crowd levels to be significantly higher than your previous trips in October and August, but the good news is that those higher crowd levels will be centered around Thanksgiving weekend.  The time leading up to and the time after that weekend will be far more moderate as far as crowding is concerned.  Further good news is that because your trip is on the lengthy side, you should be able to accomplish a lot during your stay, in spite of the holiday crowds.  I can tell you from experience that the parks are beautifully decorated for the holidays and it's something you'll be glad you did. And if you run into more questions, do ask again; we're happy to help you maneuver the parks like a pro!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
