LOVE this panel forum!! We are staying at the Polynesian and have breakfast res. @ Chef mickey's (Contemporary resort) @9:10am. How do we get there from our hotel? Monorail? Bus? And what time should we leave to get there on time? Thanks!!

Hi, Julianne! Oh, I'm so glad that you're enjoying the Mom's Panel and that you find it helpful. We certainly find it rewarding to help guests plan their next WDW vacations!

From the Polynesian, you will board the monorail just off the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House. The monorail will take you to four stops before circling back around to the Polynesian -- the Grand Floridian, the Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary and the Ticket & Transportation Center. The third stop will be where you want to get off for Chef Mickey's.  In fact, you'll be able to see the restaurant on the fourth floor Concourse of The Contemporary from the monorail platform.

To be on the safe side, I would plan to board your monorail from The Polynesian around 8:30 a.m. This will give you plenty of time to make the loop around to The Contemporary, and you'll want to be there a little early since they'll take a group photo prior to your seating.

I hope this helps you plan! Come back if you have more questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
