Love your panel~ follow-up water park question......which park would be more fun & offer more rides for little girls ages 7&8? (A bit timid in water) and also offer family rides to enjoy together? Thanks so much!

    Hi Lynne,

My youngest girls are currently 8 & 10 and when they were 6 & 8 we took them to both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. My youngest is a bit timid and therefore she didn't love a lot of the water slides. There was an area at Blizzard Beach called the "Ski Patrol Training Camp" that she absolutely loved! There is an "obstacle course" of sorts and intermediate level slides. This area is fantastic for tweens, and I believe your girls would really enjoy it! There is also a family raft ride and other fun slides that aren't too intense.

Personally, I love Typhoon Lagoon as overall there is less climbing to get to the slides. If you choose that water park instead, your girls will likely enjoy the "Storm Slides" the most. My daughters could have spent all day on those if I had let them. The lazy river is fantastic too.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
