Love the panel! First timers going with 4 & 7 yr old boys in July. Husband doesn't like shows but friend suggested Fantasmic if we were to see one. Do you agree? If so, which of the three restaurants (w/ show pkg) would the boys like best?

    Hi Kristi -

I'm so glad to hear you like the panel!

Fantasmic is one of my FAVORITE shows in all of Walt Disney World.  It does feature villains, so it can be quite scary at times.  Of course, this is Disney and good always triumphs.  I just wanted to warn you in case you have children that are easily frightened; this might not be the show for them.  Otherwise, I definitely recommend it and think that even your husband will find it enjoyable.

As far as which restaurant your children will like best.  I would recommend either Mama Melrose's or Hollywood and Vine.  I prefer the food at Mama Melrose's, but the dinner at Hollywood and Vine is a buffet.  I know if you have picky eaters, it's often easier to find something for them to eat when there is a large selection.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
