My family and I have been in the same boat and have had to cancel a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. Since it is pre-paid, I called Walt Disney World Resort and spoke directly with Dining Reservations to cancel. For us, it took around 4 days for the refund to be processed, however it states that it could take anywhere from 3-5 business days. Make sure you keep your cancellation number in case something happens and keep an eye on your credit card statement as well. Disney is very good at processing cancellations, but errors may happen.
Cancellations can be done online, however I prefer to call (407) 939-1947 and speak to a Cast Member when a refund of any kind is involved. Please remember that Cinderella's Royal Table has a cancellation policy of 48 hours, so be sure to cancel before then to ensure you are eligible for a refund.
