Hi! Love the panel :) how do I find out the dates that specific rides/attractions will be closed for refurbishment or maintenance? Also, any idea when the California Grill will re-open? Thanks!!

    Hi Kelli,

    Thanks for your questions!

There have been many great improvements to the Walt Disney World website this year, but I have to say that I now think it is more difficult to locate the attraction refurbishment schedule. Maybe I haven't looked in the right place, but the only way I've been able to tell if an attraction is going to be closed is to go to the page about that attraction and check the calendar for a specific date. If it is going to be closed, it will show No Times Available.

I've had better luck checking some of the unofficial sites such as touringplans.com, allears.net and wdwinfo.com. They do a pretty good job of compiling refurbishment schedules.

You will be able to find up-to-date information on your Times Guide when you arrive at Disney.

Like you and so many others, I am eagerly awaiting the return of the California Grill. As far as I know, there still is not an official opening date. The Disney Parks Blog's most recent update was published on June 17 and featured a sneak peek at some of the new dishes.

I'm sorry I can't be more definitive on both parts of your question, but feel free to write back if I can try to be of more help. Wishing you a wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World resort. Enjoy!
