Hello Moms! I love the panel. My family will be staying at WDW in June. My 6 and 5 year old sons love star wars and want to sign up for Jedi Training Academy. How many training sessions are done per day and how many kids are in each session? Thank you

    Hi there Anne!

I'm heading down in June as well!!! I can't wait! My 5 year old son LOVES Star Wars and he even dressed up like Luke Skywalker for Halloween this year! Typically, the show times for the Jedi Training Academy vary according what time of year it is and the expected crowd levels. I'm not sure if you are going to be going to Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekends but I'm thinking that they will be adding more shows during that time. Currently, they are taking sign ups first thing in the day right by where the Jedi Training Academy stage is. The sign ups open at the beginning of the day for all the shows for that day. There is a standby line in case kids that signed up earlier in the day do not show up at their scheduled show time, but those in the standby line are not guaranteed to be in a show.  I would get to Hollywood Studios at least 30 minutes prior to the Park opening and head straight to the side of Star Tours to sign up for that day's Jedi Training Academy when it opens. As always, check the Times Guide when you arrive at the park for character appearance locations, parades, rides, and show times (including the Jedi Training Academy schedule). I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
