Love this panel. my family will be staying @ the contempary Dec 22-27. I was wondering what we should do 4 Christmas Day! I was thinking skipping the parks! What would be a great game plan for Christmas Day! Thanks!

Hi, Gabrielle! Christmas Day is one of the most crowded days in the parks all year. Lots of yuletide cheer going on there.

You could totally beat the crowds and still have a very merry Christmas outside of 'em.

Many of the resorts are decked out in holiday decorations. It could easily take a day to experience the best of the best. Since you're staying at the Contemporary, resort hopping is super easy, beginning on your home turf at the Contemporary. Then, make a stop at the Polynesian, grab a cup of Kona Coffee, see the decorations and then get back on the monorail to the Grand Floridian.

The Grand Floridian is probably the most beautiful at Christmastime, especially with its ginormous, walk-in gingerbread house. Afterwords, monorail over to Magic Kingdom, walk to the bus area and grab a bus to the Beach Club to take in its decorations, including the life-sized gingerbread carousel.

If you have more time to spare, consider hitting Animal Kingdom Lodge and/or Wilderness Lodge. Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge would be a splendid place for Christmas dinner.
