I love your panel! My family and I have stayed at several of the deluxe resorts on site, but this is our first time to bring our camper and stay at the Fort. We have booked a preferred-pet friendly site. Are any of the sites pull through?

    Heather:

As a frequent camper to Fort Wilderness, I know you and your family will be delighted with it! Although it's not labeled "deluxe" by Disney, I would put it in that category when you compare it to other campgrounds around the country.

If memory serves me correctly, the last of the pull-through sites were changed to regular, back-in sites in the renovations over the past 18 months at the fort. You should have been asked what class RV you own, as this helps them assign sites--and know which sites allow more room for backing in larger rigs.

If you're concerned about backing into your site, don't hesitate to get out of the RV and help the driver. Most folks need an extra pair of eyes if you've got a Class A, even with rear cameras.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
