    Love the panel. !st DW trip Nov.28- Dec.4. Read somehting about sleigh rides last year. Are these available this year? Any information about this would be helpful. For example: price, number of people, how to book, where they are located. Thanks!!!!!

    Hi Carlene! The Fort Wilderness sleigh ride seems to be popular this year as I have answered many questions about this great recreation opportunity.

    They will indeed have them again for the holiday season.  They actually have them all year round with a Haunted Carriage ride around the Halloween days and regular ones at other times of the year.  For Christmas they call them the "sleigh" rides.

    The ride will take you either on the back trails or around the RV loops where many seasonal guests put up extraordinary displays.  Last year one man had a computerized program showing Wishes and the Magic Kingdom castle!  I have heard that many are planning even bigger and better personal displays this year!

    The price for the carriage ride is $60.  You are not charged per person but instead per ride.  You can fit up to 4 adults or 5 persons if one is a child.  You will meet the carriage near Crockett's Tavern which is close to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue Pioneer Hall. This area is within walking distance from the marina if you come by boat or you can take the internal bus from the bus area at the front of the the "Fort".
