Love the Panel! Going to Disney(5th time)in September and attending MNSSHP for the first time. Is it true you may enter the park as early as 4pm? Also, will Disney Costumes be available at Downtown Disney/parks or better to bring with us? Any tips? Thanks!

    Hi Brianna!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a lot of fun.  It's my favorite hard ticketed event in the Magic Kingdom.  Be sure to do the special activities, and especially watch the parade and fireworks.  They are spectacular!

The party doesn't officially start until 7 pm.  However, in previous years, guests were allowed into the Magic Kingdom with just a party ticket as early as 4 pm.  My guess is that will be the same this year, but there's no guarantee!  Disney reserves the right not to let anybody in until 7 pm.

Disney costumes are sold all over Walt Disney World.  However, most of the sizes are for children.  If any adults want to wear a costume, it's best to bring them with them.  With regards to costumes, I would say somewhere between 25% and 40% of guests where them at the party, though that's mostly children.  I would guess that on any given night, about 10% to 15% of adults are in costume.  However, I've never been there on Halloween (or a few nights before) so maybe there are a lot more guests in costume then!  Personally, I think being in costume is the best!

Enjoy planning and have a magical time!
