Hi! Love the moms panel!! We will be dining at Sci-fi restaurant at 4:30 on Nov. 3rd and want to see Fantasmic at 6:30. Will we have enough time? So excited!! :)

    Hi, Mandy!

I'm thrilled to hear that you love the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We sure do love helping Guests plan the details of their magical vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort!

I typically recommend allowing 90-minutes to dine at most restaurants, but since the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant does not have Characters, I think you'll be alright just allowing an hour to enjoy your meal. It's also very important that you consider the amount of time it will take you to walk from the restaurant to the Fantasmic! entrance. Take a look at the map of Disney's Hollywood Studios to get an idea of how far apart the two locations are from each other. It's probably about a 10-minute walk.

If it were my family, I might see if I could change the Advanced Dining Reservation to closer to 4:00 p.m. just so we could be more leisurely as my family likes to walk slowly through the Parks. Also, Guests start lining up early to get into the show for good seats even though I think that any seats in the amphitheater are great!

I sure hope this helps. Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have as you continue planning.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
