Love the Panel- Only 17 days left before we arrive @ WDW! DH and DS-6 actual BD is July 3, my q- do you think it would be appropriate for him to wear a B-Day button as this is part of the celebration and order a cake for one of our Table Service Meals? TY

    Hi Juanita,

Welcome to the Moms Panel, and congratulations on your upcoming vacation!  Walt Disney World resort is all about celebrating this year, and guests are encouraged to promote their special event by proudly wearing one of their complimentary celebration buttons.

Now you would certainly be allowed to take a Birthday button for your son so he can pretend it is his birthday, but I would worry that this could be somewhat awkward and confusing for him.  Most likely he would be asked frequently by the friendly cast members when his birthday is, and it may make him uncomfortable to tell them his birthday was actually months ago.

So how about celebrating his "un-birthday"?  He could wear one of the "I'm Celebrating" buttons, and it would be fun for him to proclaim to those that ask that it's his "un-birthday".   Adding a nice "un-birthday" cake at the end of your meal would be a great memory for your family!  Simply call (407) 827-2253 at least 48 hours prior to your meal to order a custom bakery cake.

I hope this helps, good luck!
