Hi Jessica,
I highly recommend pampering yourself while on vacation and I can tell you that I had my first ever Swedish Massage on my last trip to Walt Disney World a few weeks ago in July. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would do it again in a heartbeat although the money thing does become a bit of an issue...it is not cheap, that's for sure. I went to the Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and the service was impeccable...they really make you feel like a Princess for the day. When you are using the Spa for a treatment you will also be allowed to use the Resort pool and fitness club facility for the day as well...this is a real bonus! There was complimentary tea to drink and complimentary oranges and bananas. Everything you need for the day is available to you...robes, slippers, shampoo, hairspray, hairdryers, mouthwash, toothbrushes, shavers, Hot Tub, Sauna, etc..etc... I haven't been to the Grand Floridian Spa, but I believe I was told by a cast member that they really are very much alike so I don't think it really matters which one you choose. They are all owned by the same company and are operated/run exactly the same way.
For younger guests (4-12 years old) they offer "my first Facial" which is currently $70.00 and lasts for 25 minutes. They do offer a Mother and Daughter Day Package which currently is $490.00 (it sounds cute but I wouldn't spend that kind of money for 2.5 hours of pampering and it doesn't sound like this is what you are looking for either!). If you visit the following link you will be able to view the
Downloadable Brochure for the Grand Floridian Spa (in pdf. format) where you will see all available packages as well as pricing. I hope you all enjoy your Spa day. Have a magical time!!!
Best wishes,
Brigitta
