Hi, Jennifer!
With 2 little Mouseketeers, you are going to be very pleased with Port Orleans French Quarter. It is the smallest of the Moderate Resorts, so it is easy to get around.
When my family stays at this beautiful resort, we request a room in building 3 or building 4 as these are the buildings closest to the food court/lobby/bus stop. Make note on your request that you have little ones so being close to transportation is very important to you. It is up to you, but when I had stroller-aged kids, I liked a first floor room so I did not have to deal with elevators and the stroller.
I usually send my request about 5 days prior to my vacation. In your request, also note your need for a pack-and-play and you might also want to call to add it to your room reservation. At check-in, double check that they have a pack-and-play in your room for your baby. You can call the resort with your room request or send a fax.
You will want to check-out the
Baby Care Centers in each park. They are perfect for feedings and changings. Don't forget sunscreen, diapers, wipes, autograph books, and your camera! Have a great time in Walt Disney World.
