Hi! Love the panel! How do cast members at the parks know who are staying at disney resorts and r eligible for emh since the wristbands? We where there in oct. And were never asked 4 any proof of verification! Anyone could be riding the rides!!!

Hi Brandi,  I'm assuming that you are referring to the extra magic hours that occur in the evening when the parks are already filled.  It has been my experience that once the park closes, guests without wristbands are asked to show their hotel key at the entrance to any attraction.  Once a cast member verifies that you are a hotel guest, you are given a wristband to wear for the evening.

I'm sure that with so many guests, an occasional non-resort guest is able to go undetected, but for the most part, it seems to be a pretty thorough and convenient system.

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
