Hi Lori! Isn't that wonderful! This actually happened to me and my family on our first extended family vacation to Walt Disney World in 2003. I received an email that upgraded our stay from a Value Resort to a Moderate Resort for the Value Resort price. We were thrilled! Since then, I will occasionally receive postcards with similar offers and so will others in my family that have been to Walt Disney World and stayed on property in the past. The discount pin must be the newest way of offering select guests opportunities to upgrade their stay. I love that Disney does things like this; it truly is part of the Disney difference. Most Excellent!
