    Love the panel! What are the best restaurants near the Lagoon to watch Illuminations during dinner? Some of our group doesn't like Mexican. We're a group of 7, 4 adults 3 boys 3,7,&9 in WDW 11/29-12/6. Can't wait.

    Hi Richard!  The absolute best way to watch Illuminations is not from a restaurant but from a spot along the water so you can hear the music and feel the heat of the fire in the show. It is quite spectacular and my favorite Disney special show.

    There are two restaurant locations where you can view the show while dining.....Rose and Crown and the new Mexican restaurant.  Please understand that window tables cannot be reserved and your reservation time is only an estimate so you are still risking not seeing Illuminations even when you reserve at one of these locations.

    Your best bet is to dine earlier in the evening and choose a place where your entire group enjoys the menu and then find a spot to watch together.
