Love the panel! Arriving on a Saturday around 3:00, staying Contempo, with a 1 and 3 year old, staying for a week. For arrival night would you recommend Hoop Dee Doo Revue, 1900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, or something totally different? Thanks!

    Hi Susan,

With a 1 and 3 year old, I would recommend Crystal Palace - especially if they love Winnie the Pooh!  The food is served buffet style, so your little ones will not have to wait for service.  The characters come to your table to take pictures and sign autographs.  The best part?  When your done dining, you're right inside the park and can enjoy a few attractions if you still have the energy.

Since you're arriving so late on your first day, you may not want to use up a park ticket for that day.  If this is the case, I recommend trying Chef Mickey's right in your resort.  Riding to 1900 Park Fare is also a great option if they would enjoy seeing Cinderella rather than Mickey.

Hoop Dee Doo Revue is fun, but some of the slapstick humor may be lost on your little ones.  Some people may disagree, but I would wait a couple of years before trying out this dinner show.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
