    Love the panel! Arrive mid-day Saturday 5/9-heading to Epcot. Would going to the Boardwalk be a good idea after Illuminations? Staying at Wilderness Lodge-can we catch a bus back? Thanks-you guys are great!!

    Hi Adrienne!  I would not suggest you go to the Boardwalk resort or area if you are wanting to view Illuminations.  The only way to get the full effect of the show is to stay within the EPCOT park boundaries.  So much of Illuminations takes place at water level and once you leave the park and head to the Boardwalk area you will not be able to see a good deal of this.  You can see the higher fireworks at times but this is just such small part of the show.

    To catch a bus directly back to the Wilderness Lodge you would have to do that from the EPCOT bus area.  Busses do not run from resort to resort.  To go from Boardwalk you could catch a bus to Downtown Disney and transfer then to the Wilderness Lodge bus if you want to take in Boardwalk after visiting EPCOT.
