Hi - love this panel. Anyway - we are visiting the MK the week of Sept 15, 08. I have noticed the value resorts seem to be pretty booked. Is something happening in the parks during this time? thanks - sandy

Back in the Spring, Disney offered a free dining promotion for guests visiting the resort in September.  It is a very popular promotion, one that many people look forward to taking advantage of.  That promotion is probably the biggest reason that the resorts are booked up.

As for special events taking place in the parks, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be going on during both September and October.  It's an after-hours event that requires a separate admission ticket.  If you are able to fit it into your itinerary, I highly recommend it; it's a fantastic party!
