Love your panel and always get great advice! My question is where exactly does the monorail go? I'm looking at different restaurants at resorts near the the MK just in case the restaurant we want @ MK is compeltely booked. We love new experiences! Thanks!

    Hi there, Danielle!

It totally warms my heart that you are finding the Moms Panel helpful in planning your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! We all just love helping Guests plan their magical vacations!

There are two monorail lines at Walt Disney World. One goes around the Seven Seas Lagoon in the Magic Kingdom area. The other goes back and forth between Epcot and the Transportation & Ticket Center. A ride on the monorail is a "must do" for my family every time we are there because we just love the experience and the view!

When you board the monorail at the Magic Kingdom station, your route will make the following stops:
    1. Disney's Contemporary Resort
    2. Transportation & Ticket Center [this is where you'd get the monorail to Epcot]
    3. Disney's Polynesian Resort
    4. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    5. Back to the Magic Kingdom
There are MANY absolutely fantastic restaurants to choose from at those three Deluxe Resorts from Quick Service meals, Character Dining, Fine Dining and everything in between. When you go to the Dining section of the Walt Disney World website, you can actually sort restaurants based on each Resort and make your choices based on the descriptions there. I have so many favorites and I wish that I had an unlimited amount of space here to tell you all about each one!

The most important thing to remember is that these restaurants are extremely popular and reservations are highly recommended. You can make reservations online or by calling 407.WDW.DINE [939.3463].

Thanks for visiting us with your question, Danielle! I'll be right here if you have any others I can help with!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
