Hi! Love panel! Going to AK during day & mvmcp that p.m(7-12). Would like to see JJ Parade @ 3:45 then eat dinner before mvmcp. Can go to Boma @ 4:55 or Tony's Town Sq @5:50. Oh yeah, have DS6, DS8, DH, Gram,Gramp and me. Can u please help me decide? T

    Hi Laura,

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a great way to spend an evening at Walt Disney World.  It's such a special event that seems to put everyone in the holiday spirit.

Boma is one of my favorite restaurants!  If you are relying on Disney transportation, you'll have to transfer buses at a resort to get to Magic Kingdom anyway.  So, once you leave Animal Kingdom, hop on the bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge.  You'll probably arrive just in time for your dining reservations.

After dinner, hop on the bus to Magic Kingdom and enjoy the party.  Don't worry if it isn't quite 7:00.  Cast members often let guests into the party early (sometimes as early as 4:00), but arriving closer to the start of the actual party will allow you to soak up all of the atmosphere on Main Street.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
