We love Be Ou Guest for lunch, but I see that it now takes reservations for lunch. Does this mean you can no longer walk up and get a table? I'm worried we won't be able to eat there now because of the switch to ADR's for lunch :(

Bon jour, Amanda! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let's visit Beast's Castle for a wonderful lunch today!

I can understand why you love Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom Park. I was so excited to eat there for the very first time last weekend. My family enjoyed a wonderful meal in the gorgeous surroundings of the Grand Ballroom. And on the advice of some very dear friends, we tried the Master's Cupcake with its crowning glory, the Grey Stuff. It really was delicious!

We had an Advanced Dining Reservation for our lunch that day, but as we left the restaurant at around 1 p.m. we did see a line forming for people without reservations that was about halfway down the bridge. I asked a Cast Member how long the wait was at that point, and she said it was about 20 minutes.

I can't say for sure that this very popular restaurant will always have walk-in availability, but at least for now it appears you can still enjoy lunch without a reservation. You might consider confirming with a Disney Dining Cast Member at 407-WDW-DINE.

I hope this whets your appetite for lunch in this amazing place, Amanda. Bon appetit!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
