Hello, would love your opinion, BCR club level/pool view or Poly club level Garden view? Want to be close to amenities/transport/shop and food. Also, do you know which buillding is club level at Poly and is it close to GCH. TY for info

    Hi Amy,

I had the chance to stay in a Club Level room at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort a few years ago and it was HEAVENLY. The rooms are all located in the Hawaii longhouse, which is directly beside both the Lava and Oasis Pools and only a short (2-3 minutes, tops) walk to the Great Ceremonial House.

Although I haven’t had the chance to stay in a Club Level room at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, I have stayed at that Resort before. I absolutely loved being able to walk to Epcot and Disney’s BoardWalk and I can’t rave enough about how wonderful Stormalong Bay is.

I don’t think that you can make a bad choice between either Resort for your upcoming vacation. I would give Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort a slight edge, for several reasons. First, transportation to Magic Kingdom Park is much easier (by either boat or monorail) and you’re just a short walk away from a direct monorail to Epcot over at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Second, you can get a Dole Whip at a moment’s notice at the Pineapple Lanai. Finally, the Club Level lounge has an AMAZING view of Wishes nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park. While I believe you can see the “fireworks” parts of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth from the Club Lounge at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, I don’t know whether you can beat the fireworks viewing at “The Poly”!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Lynne
